Prior to joining FNC in 1996, Green served as a weekend news anchor and correspondent at WBBM-TV (CBS) in Chicago. From 1988 to 1993, she was a general assignment reporter at KSTP-TV (ABC) in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Outside of her career at FNC, Green is well known as a concert pianist with a degree in piano performance from The University of Minnesota. She has interviewed some of the most prominent people in the classical music world including Placido Domingo, Pierre Boulez, Joshua Bell and has covered such events as the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and opening night of The Metropolitan Opera. ABOUT CASEY KOVACIC Since Miss Twin Cities - and has it really been 26 years!!?? Casey finished her bachelor's degree at the College of St. Catherine, her master's degree from Indiana University, and is currently working on a second master's degree from Brandeis University. Casey has played her flute as a soloist and orchestral musician in many places, including Italy, Texas, Arkansas, New York, Ohio, and has had the privilege of working with Luciano Pavarotti and the Three Tenors, Cloris Leachman, George Grizzard, Marie Osmond, Cathy Rigby, The Moody Blues, Vince Gill and many others. She has played many touring Broadway shows, including Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Beauty & the Beast, among many others. She subs with the Minnesota Orchestra and SPCO and freelances extensively in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. For the past 10 years, in addition to her music, Casey has been working in the IT industry. She is currently a Business Analyst in Software Development at Pearson VUE. Casey lives in Bloomington with her three parrots.

ABOUT VICKI PLASTER KUEPPERS Since 1987, Vicki has been performing, touring and recording with the 5 voice jazz vocal group, Voice Trek. Voice Trek is the Midwest Champions for the Harmony Sweepstakes A cappella singing competition, as well as recipients of the prestigious McKnight Fellowship for Performing Musicians in 2005-2006 for which they received a $25,000 cash award. Voice Trek recently released their 8th recording, "An A capella Trek" which is heard on radio and internet stations around the country and even around the globe. Music from many of their CD's is available for digital download world-wide. Kari Knuttila Heisler Miss Twin Cities 2001 Miss Minnesota 2001 ABOUT KARI KNUTTILA HEISLER As Miss Minnesota, Kari's platform was "Music Makes a Difference," promoting music and arts education. She is now living out that platform as a high school choir teacher in Hudson, Wisconsin.
Kari is in her 4th year of teaching in Hudson where she directs 3 choirs and the high school fall musical. Kari also teaches private piano lessons to 17 wonderful students! Kari lives in Hudson with her husband, Rico, their son Silas. ABOUT HEIDI HAMMOND METRO I truly enjoyed being Miss Metropolitan. I believe that this program is truly about growth and learning about who we truly are as people. It's a unique opportunity to have, and I feel very blessed to have been a part of such a great organization. After competing in Miss Minnesota for the final time, I graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse in 2002. In May of 2004, I was married to Mike Metro in LaCrosse. We moved to Hudson, Wisconsin in June, 2005 and we just recently bought our very first house! Mike works for a company called Cision in Minneapolis. I currently own Massage & Bodywork by Heidi Metro in Hudson, Wisconsin. I feel like I have truly found what it is that I am supposed to be doing. What a gift! We have a mini dachshund named Maxwell who is absolutely hilarious! Mike and I enjoy hiking, traveling, taking photos and working on projects around our house. Mike is an avid runner and we both enjoy walking Maxwell together. We are so excited to see where life takes us. It was wonderful and perfect in every way! We also bought our first home in Maple Grove, MN, where we live with our two cats Jack & Belle and our Bullmastiff puppy, Gus.
I am currently work as a Marketing Coordinator for TN Marketing in Plymouth, and I honestly really enjoy my work. Now that I am no longer competing, I am focusing on my career, my new husband and just enjoying life!! I plan to come back to the system in the form of a volunteer in the coming years, because I just love it so much! This program was such a huge part of my life for so long, it gave me so many wonderful opportunities and memories, that I want to be able to give back to this program! ABOUT JACKIE BALLARD-VRANICAR Since my "competition days" I've taken a new title by marrying my "MR. MINNESOTA," Kevin Vranicar, in July, 2006. Kevin is a Project Manager in Chanhassen while I work for a CPA and Consulting firm in Edina; and as a freelance writer for several lifestyle magazines. Miss Twin Cities is something I will always have a special place for, not only because of the relationships that grew during my involvement, but because Kevin "proposed to me on stage" the night I crowned the new Miss Twin Cities 2005!! I have stayed heavily involved with the Miss Minnesota Organization since last competing as both the Alumni Director www.missminnesotaalumni.com and board member for the state program. I truly enjoy this side of the organization; helping prepare young women for this amazing journey is an opportunity I am fortunate to have.

ABOUT TIFFANY OGLE Tiffany was the last Miss Minnesota to compete in Atlantic City for Miss America. Staying involved in the Miss Minnesota program is important for her, Tiffany has traveled to Miss America the past 3 years to cheer on each Miss Minnesota and reunite with Miss America Friends, she volunteer produced the Miss Coon Rapids pageant last year, and for the past 2 years has hosted the Miss MN Fashion Gala, and is the Official Friday night host of the Miss Minnesota Pageant in June. Professionally, Tiffany is currently the Host of the television series, "GolfBound" on KARE 11 and the guest host of "Runway Gold" Live on Shop NBC (Having worked with Shop NBC Host Lynn Schacher who is also a fellow former Miss Metropolitan and Miss Minnesota is a quite a treat.) For the past 2 years she has continued her passion for speaking and visited over 100 companies speaking for United Way Twin Cities Giving Campaign and independently around the state. As a professional Television Host, Speaker, Commercial and Improvisational Comedy Actress, Tiffany can be seen in regional and national commercials, print ads and voice-overs for companies such as; Target, Best Buy, Blue Cross Blue Shield, 3M, Orville Redenbacher, Sargento Cheese, TeeMaster and more.. She is still a passionate spokesperson for children's safety and in her free time she enjoys collecting Hamm's Beer memorabilia, ping pong, trying new restaurants and being with family. | | Sarah Wojtowicz Bazey Miss Metropolitan 1992 Top 10 Miss Minnesota ABOUT SARAH WOJTOWICZ BAZEY The Miss America system is comprised of accomplished and amazing competitors, volunteers, and supporters. As a former Miss Metropolitan, I experienced first hand the tradition and pride involvedin this program. Since 1992, I have continued to seek educational opportunities beyond my undergraduate degree relative to my chosen career in business. In 1999, I became a certified Construction Document Technologist, and in 2003 graduated from Harvard Business School.
As the President and CEO of Simplex Construction Supplies, Inc., I am proud to have celebrated our 20th Anniversary on July 21, 2007. In 1993, I founded Construction Technology, Inc., which manufacturers construction materials in the Twin City area. In 1998, I joined a team of 10 individuals to form and serve as a director for Patriot Bank Minnesota. In 1999, I co-founded a privately held investment company, which focuses on real estate development. In addition to day-to-day business operations, I serve on several local, state and national boards within the construction industry. I am also a volunteer at Regions Hospital in St. Paul for the Survivors Offering Assistance in Recovery (SOAR). After having survived a helicopter crash in 1994, which left me severely burned over 40% of my body. This experience also brought me to leadership positions within the Phoenix Society, which is an internationally recognized organization for burn survivors and their families. Beyond work and volunteer commitments, I love to spend time with my husband of 4 years, Joe, and my two bichon frises, Rockwell and Samantha. We reside in downtown Minneapolis and Scandia, Minnesota, as well as Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Since being married, I have enjoyed the challenge of cooking, and continue to love to read, hike, golf, travel, ice skate and downhill ski.
