In 1980 Miss Twin Cities began under the direction of Kathy Shellum:*Those who won Miss Minnesota are highlighted in blue; those who placed or won an award at Miss America are highlighted in red.


In 2006 - Director David Shepardson becomes Co-Executive Director of the Miss Minnesota Scholarship Program.  The MISS TWIN CITIES Pageant is turned over to new leadership. 

In October, 2006, MISS TWIN CITIES brought out of "retirement," Kathy Shellum, Judy Register (who used to chair MISS INVER GROVE HEIGHTS in the 80's) and Bruce Krause, to continue what they had begun years ago! (Bruce "re-retired" at end of 2007)
   





















**Shares title with her sister Kari Knuttila, who was Miss Twin Cities 2001!

In 1989 Miss Twin Cities changed it's name to MISS METROPOLITAN and ran from 1989 through 1991 under the direction of Bruce Krause~

In 1999, David Shepardson and Rod Simonson brought MISS TWIN CITIES back under it's original name.  In the years 2001 and 2003, both a MISS TWIN CITIESand a MISS METROPOLITAN were selected to represent the Twin Cities area~

**Shares title with her sister Kathryn Knuttila, who is Miss Twin Cities 2010! And becomes the second set of sisters to share the Miss Minnesota crown when her sister Kathryn is crowned Miss Minnesota 2010!

In 2008 Andrea Worley became  the Director of Scholarships & Fundraisers.  The Miss Twin Cities Organization under the direction of Kathy Shellum & Judy Register, added a new local title under the "umbrella" of Miss Twin Cities Scholarship Organization.  She will be called
MISS CAPITAL CITY.

 
 
  
In 18 years of existence, 11 Miss Twin Cities and Miss Metropolitan
representatives have gone on to win the Miss Minnesota title!
 
 

 





The Miss Twin Cities Scholarship Organization is an "OPEN" Pageant.

You must live, work or go to school

in the State of Minnesota to

participate.  Proof of residence and/or college enrollment will be required.
